Director - Cheri Stoffel
"All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them."
Walt Disney
The director of the Superstars Twirling Academy is Cheri Stoffel, known to most people as Ms. Cheri. Our group was founded 21 years ago by Cheri Stoffel and one of her best friends, Sandy Snyder. Both were students under the direction of Connie Cales who was then the instructor of Bicentennial Beauties and later County Cuties. Twenty-one years ago we did not know how this group would grow and change throughout the years. An estimated 1500 or more girls have been a part of this group over the years. While Sandy moved on to teach twirling in Orlando and now Jacksonville, Cheri has continued to promote baton twirling in this area. In addition to the Superstars, Ms. Cheri has had the opportunity to be the Color/Guard director at Leesburg High School for 4 years and is the current Majorette director at the school. Her students, competition teams and parade groups have won many awards up the National level. Several of her students have been and are currently twirling in 3 of our states's universities. This is without a doubt is one of the things that we are the most proud of. Ms. Cheri is very proud to be involved in the DMA organization where she is a certified coach and judge.
