FINAL Recital Information

RECITAL - LEESBURG HIGH SCHOOL ON SATURDAY, MAY 8TH .  The recital begins at 2:00pm and all students must be in the gym no later 1:30pm.  The door will open at 1:15pm.  N0-ONE WILL BE PERMITTED IN THE GYM BEFORE 1:20PM EXCEPT FOR MY HELPERS AND THEIR FAMILIES.  This is a mandatory event.  All students are required to attend as this is what we have been working towards all year!  Each student will be presented with her own trophy and most will perform 3 routines.  This is our 21st year anniversary and we are very excited!  The recital tickets will be sold at the door.  The tickets for the recital will be $8.00 per person (twirlers do not pay this fee).  Children 5 and under are free.  This fee pays for the rental of the gym which is very expensive!  There will be mandatory rehearsal the evening before on May 7th at 6:00pm at LHS.  All students must be at this rehearsal on time.  All students must come to rehearsal with baton shoes on and hair in a pony-tail.  Parents or siblings will NOT be allowed in the gym as this is a closed rehearsal.  You will need to pick up your child at 7:30pm.  If you have a relative that needs handicapped or special seating arrangements, please send an email so we can be sure to accommodate you! Invite your friends and family!!!  Please bring in a bag of cookies or a box of juice pouches for our reception afterwards.  Please just bring this the day of the recital and not to class.  Please feel free to invite your family, friends and your child’s teachers!!  There is plenty of room.  All students must stay until the last student has received her trophy!  Thanks for your support.  I know you will be so proud to see what your child has accomplished this year!!  You are welcome to take pictures and video tape the recital.

MAY TUITION - This is due today with NO EXCEPTIONS - If you did not pay this today, you will be required to pay it on Friday at rehearsal or Saturday at the check-in table at the recital.  If you have any other past dues, they must be taken care of today.  Trophies have been ordered and anyone with outstanding past dues will not be allowed to participate in the recital.  Please call me if there is an issue and if you need to make special arrangements!  I am willing to work with anyone who contacts me!!  Past dues include past tuition, balance on costumes, shirts, shoes, batons or any other items that the student has received and has not yet paid for.  Everyone will sign in at the recital and must have a cleared account or will be asked to pay for their balance at the door.  This will include May tuition.  Many people are outstanding for the month of April.  Thanks for your cooperation and understanding in this matter!! 

RAFFLE TICKETS:  Continue to sell your raffle tickets!  All girls will receive prizes for every 10 tickets sold and there will be prizes for the top three sellers!  PLEASE help support our group with this fund-raiser.  Proceeds will also benefit two of our seniors as the enter college to help with some of their initial expenses!!!  Thanks so much for your support!!!!  The winner does NOT have to  be present to win!  We are raffling a $100 Visa Gift Card!!  YOU CAN TURN IN YOUR TICKETS AT THE RECITAL FOR PRIZES, however those tickets can not be added in the final count for top three ticket sellers.  To be considered for the top three sellers, the tickets MUST be turned in at the recital rehearsal on Friday evening.  You are not responsible for tickets that you did not sell.

PRACTICE - All students must be practicing their routines and tricks at home on a regular basis!  We will continue practice after the recital at the schools through May 19th &20th. 

SUPERSTARS SUMMER CHAMP CAMP - Forms will be going home at the recital.  Space is very limited so it will be on a first come first serve basis!  ANYONE interested in trying out for competition teams must attend a summer camp.  You can invite friends who are not in our group.  (Includes current members)

SUPERSTAR SENIORS SCHOLARSHIP - This year we have two seniors who have been with us for a very long time.  We have started a new “Superstar Senior Scholarship” this year that will be given to our senior each year.  I am sending home an envelope for donations.  If you would like to donate, please place your donation in the envelope and turn in at the rehearsal or the recital.  Every little bit helps!  Hopefully one day your daughter will be the recipient of the Superstar Scholarship!  Thanks for your support!
